Crossroads Web Site Style Guide
Standard Page Layout:
- Judge the appearance by how the page looks when previewed in the browser.
The layout and style has inaccuracies while displayed in FrontPage.
- The content on the right is limited to about 650 pixels wide for most
users. Size things accordingly.
- Fonts: The fonts are controlled by the style sheets. Use
"Normal" text almost everywhere. You may use bold and italics as
needed.
- Headings: Use the standard Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, etc. The style
sheets will take care of the rest.
- Graphics: Formats GIF and JPG (JPEG) only. Pages for a very limited
audience may use PNG format if required. Not all Web browsers support PNG.
- Colors: Most colors on the page are controlled by style sheets customized
for each ministry area. Colors of other items should be complementary to the
particular style of the page.
